How We Use It
We use Directus when the database should remain the source of truth and people still need a thoughtful interface for working with it, we let Codex inspect the schema and generate typed API access while requiring it to respect null values and role boundaries rather than guessing from a convenient example response. Local testing gives us freedom to reshape collections and permissions around how people really work, for production Brownsmith can connect Directus to a managed database and server arrangement where backups and access are easier to understand than a pile of hidden automation.
