Prompt Composer

Privacy Policy

Prompt Composer works locally in your browser. Brownsmith Dynamics does not collect your extension data, and nothing is transmitted outside your browser.

No external data collection

Brownsmith Dynamics does not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or share your prompts, selected text, snippets, settings, browsing activity, or personal information. Nothing is sent outside your browser. Prompt Composer has no analytics, tracking, advertising, model API, or remote data service.

Local browser storage

Your extension preferences, enabled websites, and reusable snippets are stored in chrome.storage.local inside your Chrome profile. Draft prompts are processed locally when you use an extension feature. Preview and undo information remains in page memory only while that page is active.

Free and paid access

Prompt Composer is available in free and paid versions. This privacy policy applies to both. The extension itself does not collect payment details, and your access level does not change its local-only data practices.

Permissions and control

Prompt Composer uses Chrome's storage permission to keep local settings and snippets, the side panel permission for snippet management, and website access so its toolbar can work beside compatible editors. It does not submit prompts for you. You can edit or delete stored settings and snippets, or remove all local extension data by uninstalling Prompt Composer.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Prompt Composer's use of information received from Chrome permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the extension's user-facing prompt workflow.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. For privacy questions, contact Brownsmith Dynamics through the website.
