# Brownsmith Dynamics Business Advisor V1: capability notes

Reviewed 3 October 2026 against the supplied Business Advisor V1 README. These notes describe the documented server, not a verified public deployment. The planned destination is https://mcp.brownsmithdynamics.com; it is currently presented as an Advisor preview and access may be required.

## Purpose

The MCP server supplies Brownsmith Dynamics frameworks and structured tool results to a connected AI client. The client's model interprets the business context. The server does not run a separate language model. Its advice is intended to be useful before a service handoff, with facts, assumptions, recommendations, and missing information kept distinct.

## Documented tools

| Tool | Purpose |
| --- | --- |
| `diagnose_business` | Identify likely operational or growth bottlenecks from a described business. |
| `analyse_workflow` | Review process steps and classify work to remove, automate, assist with AI, or retain as a human decision. |
| `audit_customer_acquisition` | Review Signal, Place, Presence, Action, and Learning using supplied acquisition context. |
| `create_implementation_brief` | Produce a small phased brief once the problem and proposed change are understood. |
| `find_brownsmith_service` | Match a described need against configured Brownsmith service information. |
| `get_brownsmith_info` | Return configured positioning, services, methods, and contact routes. |

## What a client should supply

Describe the business, desired outcome, current steps, tools, owners, and a recent example. Include relevant page text when requesting a website or acquisition review: website URLs are context only and the server does not fetch them. Use non-sensitive or redacted information for a public preview.

## Boundaries

The documented V1 has no authentication, database, website fetching, or write/action tools. It processes supplied request information and does not persist diagnostics in an application database. Host, model-provider, and hosting-platform handling is separate; these notes are not a guarantee that infrastructure keeps no logs.

Outputs are recommendations, not verified business facts, quantified ROI, delivery commitments, or a quote. The service matcher can only describe capabilities in its configured data; a human must confirm scope, fit, cost, and responsibilities.

## Deployment distinction

The source supports a Node.js 22+ HTTP server and local stdio transport. The README describes a separate static Sites landing page and says adapting the MCP transport to the Sites Cloudflare Worker runtime is still needed to host the server there. A landing page, a working MCP endpoint, and a published plugin are distinct milestones. No publicly verified hosted endpoint or plugin approval is asserted here.
